The position also includes, processing claims and following up with insurance companies for payment in a timely manner.

· High School graduate required, some college preferred
· One year of experience working in a medical setting a plus
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook); ability to work on two screens
· Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
· Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing

· Proactively follow up on claim status, re-billing and recalculations; handle electronic mail regarding insurance inquiries and ensure claims are paid according to contract agreements
· Review explanation of benefits statements and take appropriate action via verbal or written appeal to challenge short/zero paid claims and various denials; and update work aging reports
· Update all payment records, post payments, and reconcile accounts and end-of-day billing spreadsheet daily
· Keep up with compliance and coverage criteria regulations
· Maintain high level of integrity and patient privacy confidentiality (HIPAA) for all information (written, verbal, electronic, etc.)
3. Customer Service Representative

Health insurance company in Indianapolis is seeking a customer service representative, who is responsible for making outbound and handling inbound calls. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm; Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm or Monday to Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm. The starting salary/wage is up to $15.00 hourly.
